The Florida Conference Department of Children, Families and Singles Ministry, in partnership with the University of Florida / Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF / IFAS) of Miami-Dade, Osceola, and Orange Counties Extension offices, Advent Health Ministry of Faith, Community and Mission, and Manaba Counseling Service bring you the first Mental Health First Aid skills-based training program to you.
Mental Health First Aid teaches you about mental health and substance use disorders. In addition, you will learn to identify, understand, and respond in a safe and culturally sensitive way to a person's mental health needs.
So many people, wanting to live a better life, wait for help to appear. Mental health first aid empowers you to assist and connect people with needed mental health care.
